Why We Set Up Project Forum
Why We Set Up Project Forum

Project Forum exists because there’s a gap.

If you work in and around project, programme, and portfolio management, the events calendar looks busy. But when you strip it back, there are surprisingly few opportunities for meaningful, face-to-face conversations between practitioners and the organisations that support them.

At the same time, it’s clear there’s a real appetite to get back into rooms together.
To learn. To compare notes. To talk honestly about what’s working, what isn’t, and what people are wrestling with right now in PPM.

That’s where Project Forum came from.

Not another conference. Not a sales floor.

We didn’t want to create a traditional conference or a noisy exhibition full of rushed conversations and hard selling.

Project Forum is designed as a one-day event that brings people together in a more human way:

  • An exhibition that encourages conversation, not pitching
  • Birds of a Feather roundtables where shared challenges drive the discussion
  • Seminar sessions focused on real topics affecting delivery today

It’s about creating space for dialogue - between peers, between buyers and suppliers, and across industries.

Learning goes both ways

For exhibitors, Project Forum is an opportunity to get closer to the people they work with and support. Not just to showcase products or services, but to listen, learn, and understand what customers actually need.

For attendees, it’s a chance to talk directly with solution providers and other professionals facing similar challenges - comparing approaches, sharing experiences, and picking up ideas that can be taken straight back into work.

Built by people who know the industry

Project Forum is organised by the House of PMO and delivered by a team with over 25 years’ experience running project management events.

We know the industry.
We know the conversations that matter.
And we know how valuable it is when people have the time and space to really engage.

The short video above explains more about why we felt this event needed to exist and what we’re trying to create with Project Forum.

If you’re looking for an event that prioritises connection, learning, and real conversations, that’s exactly why we set this up.
